“Just when I thought I’d lose everything...I sold for Cash”When I first listed my house with an Estate Agent, money was tight but I’d allowed myself 3 months to sell the house. Plenty of time they promised me.How wrong I was!!It didn’t take long and their “Can definitely get you £65,000 Mrs George, it’s a lovely home”. Soon became, “Well Mrs George, it does need a few things doing so you should drop your price to £59,950”.So I did that and still nobody rang me. I was forever chasing them to find out what was going on and time was ticking away.After 4 months on the market I’d had 2 offers but both fell through when the buyer couldn’t get a mortgage. I was in real trouble. I’d cut back on everything I could to save money, wasn’t getting any overtime at work and the stress was really starting to get to me. I really didn’t know what to do next. Just when I thought I’d lose everything, a friend suggested I call Andrew at Real Help Property as they’d sold her house in just 3 weeks. Andrew didn’t make me any promises, just outlined all my different options, even suggested I could rent my house to someone else so I could move into a new place.In the end he was able to find a cash buyer. 5 weeks later I had sold for cash and was spreading out all my things at my new place just up from mums. "When I got the letter giving me the court date I just hid it from Rachel. I didn't have the money so it didn't matter. She found it the day before I had to go and didn't she give me what for. The Citizens advice bloke said there was nothing to do but Rachel had seen a thing at the shops about stopping repo. I met Adam at the court and he spoke to the Judge for us. He new his stuff and the bank couldn't kick us out. We didn't pay anything and they gave us a good price on our house. I even got a new TV when I moved.
